I recently stayed at a charming hotel in Puebla for a week and had a fantastic experience. The staff at this historic mansion-turned-hotel were incredibly helpful, especially the English-Spanish speaking concierge who even lent me a cell phone. The beautiful building itself made me feel like I was living in a fairy tale or a movie. The breakfast buffet was delicious and they happily catered to my vegetarian needs. The open courtyard in the middle was a unique feature that added to the overall charm of the place.

The location here is really great, there's a neighborhood with lots of eating options nearby, and tourist spots like the cathedral are quite close.

the bathrooms were a bit far from our dorm and could use some maintenance, with a strong smell of sewage.

The rooms are cozy and comfortable, with a touch of elegance like the huge crystal chandeliers. I couldn't believe how close this hotel was to everything! It's exactly on top of an Irish pub, so you have easy access to drinks and entertainment. Plus, it's super close to the center, making it a breeze to explore the main attractions. The rooms with a balcony are a nice touch and provide a great view of the city.
